Cynthia Ann (Powell) Earp Newby, of Springtown, passed away Saturday Nov. 9, 2024.
A celebration of life is at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14 at White’s Funeral Home in Springtown.
Cynthia was born Feb. 7, 1945, the second child of Hazel and Wayne Powell.
Cynthia was many things to many people. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a longtime member of Springtown Church of Christ. Cynthia was generous, loving and giving. She loved unconditionally without judgment or reservation. She was loved deeply by her family and friends. Her compassion and deep love will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Worthy Earp, with whom she had three children; husband, Arvill Newby, with whom she had two adopted children; daughter, Deborah Earp; grandson, Charles Wiggins; and brother, George Powell.
She is survived by her sons, Jason Earp and wife, Sherri, Jarrod Earp, Bryan Newby, Terry Newby and wife, Valerie; grandchildren, Jacee Cox and husband, Raleigh, Chance Earp and wife Leah and Jaron Raney; sister, Mary Jane Mangrum and husband Bobby; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
