James "Kirk" Edwards, a man of immense kindness, patience and devotion, passed away Nov. 26, 2024, surrounded by family. His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the values he instilled. He will be missed tremendously.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel, 850 N. Cardinal Road, Azle, TX 76060. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. More information may be available at azlefuneralhome.com.
Kirk was born Nov. 13, 1955, in Abilene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Shannon, son David Pearson Sr., and granddaughter Kenna Lane.
Kirk is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cheryle Edwards; his sons, Michael Lane and wife Angie, Dan Pearson Jr. and wife Stephanie, Chris Edwards and wife Erin, Dustin Pearson and wife Leah, and Jeremy Edwards; sister Sherri Spindor and husband James; brother Ken Edwards and wife Lynn; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and countless family and friends.
