Robert “Bobby” Ray Nobles 1944 — 2025

Robert “Bobby” Ray Nobles II, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather of Granbury, formerly of Abilene, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 1, 2025, in his Granbury home.

Visitation for Bobby will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 U.S. Highway 377 East, in Granbury. A committal service for Bobby will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday Feb. 8, at Granbury Cemetery.

Bobby was born in McKinney May 24, 1944, to the late Robert and Zona Nobles. He enjoyed hunting, watching westerns and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Bobby owned and operated his own business, Nobles Road Construction. He loved family gatherings and “he never met a stranger.” Bobby cherished spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Ray Nobles.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Tony and wife Aurora Nobles, Matt and wife Danielle Nobles, Mamie and husband Aaron Myers, and Lindsey Thomas; grandchildren Colton, Alex, Emily, Ty, Jackson, Brinn, Stella and George; great-grandchildren Avery, Addie, Amya, Anthony, Hayes, Sutton and Sawyer; and by his sister Mary and her husband Fred Deaton.
